I’m a lifelong gamer since childhood, and I am passionate about sports, personal development, freedom, self-mastery, and lasting achievement.
Throughout my youth, I played a variety of sports across many years including soccer, tennis, table tennis, basketball, volleyball, and swimming, as well as a variety of other competitive games and esports, such as Magic: The Gathering, Chess, Poker — which I pursued as a career for several years, Legends of Runeterra, Counter-Strike, and Valorant. Maia Rak, Professor Universidad Simón Bolívar, Caracas, Venezuela and a Master’s degree in TESL (Teaching English as a Second Language) from Saint Michael’s College, Vermont, is a skilled, published, Native Spanish Instructor and English professor. She is a classroom Action Researcher with 36 years dedicated experience imparting lessons to a variety of ages, levels and language competencies. Teaching in Vermont and Spain for over 14 years.
She is also an author, having written many books and published a series of linguistics articles that were published in national and international journals.
